Join The Second Glass at Cafe Luna in Cambridge for another special night of wine, music and good times! Both May and July offered spectacular soirees, and we’re delighted to throw another one for August.

This month’s theme: Italy vs. California! We’ll be tasting wines representing each place and will enjoy a delicious menu to go along with it.

Starting with a Crash Course at 7:00, Matt Haymer, wine buyer and owner for Cafe Luna and Tyler Balliet, chief wino at The Second Glass, will walk attendees through some seriously delicious vino. This special Crash Course is $25 a person, and includes 4-5 wines to taste, each paired with a delicious dish from the Cafe and a whole lot of expert knowledge.

Menu:
First Course: Antipasti of Fresh Figs stuffed with Gorgonzola and Prosciutto, Cici Bruschetta
Second Course: Fresh California Strawberry Soup
Third Course: Margherita Pizza topped with Arugula and Seasonal Tomato Salad
Fourth Course: Open faced Honey Lime Shrimp Tacos with Mango & Avocado Salsa
Fifth Course: Tiramisu

*Vegetarian options are available, please ask in advance.

After the Crash Course and dinner, everyone is welcome to get in on the Soiree! Starting at 8:30, kick back with a glass of yummy & affordable vino (Cafe Luna has a great selection starting at $6!) on the patio, chill with The Second Glass team and friends and listen to some free jazz!
