Summer Sizzle Jazz Festival August 6, 2011

Tizer Trio heats up the Main Stage at the Historic Third Ward Jazz Festival: Summer Sizzle, which runs 11am to 11pm, Saturday, August 6, in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward. Featuring four stages of continuous jazz, the event will take place on North Broadway between E. St. Paul Avenue and E. Menomonee Street. Admission is free. Nearly 20 local, regional and Chicago jazz groups complete the musical lineup with a variety of styles: traditional, Latin, swing, smooth, Dixieland and more. Spicing up the Sizzle will be the first ever Taste of the Ward, featuring Third Ward restaurants. Be there for the Mixed Basket and Iron Bartender competitions. A shoppers' paradise marketplace will offer apparel, jewelry, art, imports, one-of-a-kind gifts and specialty items.
