Summer Reading Programs June 7, 2009

The Arkansas City Public Library has programs for all our patrons this summer, young and young at heart. Be Creative @ Your Library is the theme for the children's summer reading program this year. Children from birth to age 10 can earn art-oriented prizes for reading 2-3 per week or attend storytimes and workshops aimed at expanding their appreciation for all kinds of art. Express Yourself @ Your Library is for children 11-18. We have prizes and programs promoting the arts for them as well. Adults are challenged to read from various genres and encouraged to enter a drawing for prizes, with new programs and computer classes specifically for working adults
