Summer Concert Series: Effron White, Shack, The Ozone Players July 26, 2007

Enjoy an evening of original music with singer / songwriters representative of the diverse influences of the Ozark Skittle Music movement. Effron White is the Kerrville Folk Festival's 2004 New Folk Winner, as well as Northwest Arkansas' best male singer/songwriter of 2006. The Fort Worth Star Telegram said "...White proved why he's skittle's ringleader: With just one guitar, he proficiently ran through a variety of sounds and styles, from country to jazz to blues ..."

Award winning singer/songwriter Shack writes and performs songs best described as "folk/pop" by integrating the lyrical storytelling craft of folk music, with the hooks and fun of pop music. His live performances are popular with his fans and his studio work is highly regarded by his peers.

The Ozone Players are nominated Best Bluegrass Band for the 2006 Ozark Music Awards and the 2006 Northwest Arkansas Music Awards. Their upbeat music is on the cutting edge of Bluegrass, Folk and Americana styles.
