Chicago, IL – Hell in a Handbag Productions welcomes the return of the sun with Summer Camp, a series of camp-tacular Cabaret readings of works we’re considering for future seasons. Pitch a tent and sit around our neon camp-fire with us as we present the Chicago premieres of three works sure to help you forget the winter blues.

Die! Mommie! Die! – Charles Busch’s homage to melodramatic thriller films of the 60’s starring “women of a certain age.” Angela Arden is a washed-up singer trapped in a loveless marriage, with a daughter that despises her and a mentally unstable son; until she finds happiness in the arms of Tony Parker, a very “gifted” gigolo. Or does she?
