Park Slope, Brooklyn-
On Friday, July 29th, Wasabassco Burlesque presents The Sultry Summer Soirée, a tantalizing event featuring the best burlesque acts from all over the five boroughs. The show stars the Scintillating Scarlet Sinclair and will be hosted by the Sword-Swallowing Tyler Fyre in his hometown-farewell show. The Sultry Summer Soirée will also showcase live music and more than ten performers, including a snake-charming belly dancer, The Wasabassco-a-gogo Dancers, and more, including: Anita Cookie, Gigi La Femme, Little Brooklyn, Lola Pearl, Maiiah, Mama Lou, Nasty Canasta, Peekaboo Pointe, Scott Rayow, Veronica Sweet and Le Scandal?s Grande Dame, Bonnie Dunn.
Scarlet Sinclair, the star of The Sultry Summer Soirée, is a born-and-bred New York City native. Coming from a long line of cabaret entertainers, show business has been in her blood for generations. With a background in dance, costume design and fantasy roleplaying, Scarlet was born for the stage. She's a delicious concoction of flavors, incorporating classic burlesque and Hollywood glamour with old school blues and rockabilly into scandalous shimmies that would make any Sultan blush. ?Burlesque is the greatest blank canvas I've ever known,? says Miss Sinclair. ?The possibilities are absolutely endless. It's the most amazing outlet for all of my interests. I am so lucky that there is a way for me to bring my love for music, dance, drama, art and costuming to one place.?

Tyler Fyre is pleased as pink, pickled, passion parts to be in the Wassabasco Sultry Summer Soirée. A long time veteran of the Coney Island Circus Sideshow, Tyler also performs with the Bros. Grim Sideshow, and runs his own traveling show, The Lucky Devil Circus Sideshow. Tyler performs about 1,000 shows each year, including appearances on David Letterman, Monster Garage, & Biker Build-Off. He wouldn't have it any other way - Tyler's circus travels have had him pounding tent stakes in the mud, climbing the big top in the high winds of the Texas plains, and riding in the back of a refrigerated truck. Lounging on stage with the most beautiful burlesque babes in the world will definitely be a career highlight.

The Sultry Summer Soirée will kick off with live music from Susquehanna Industrial Tool & Die Co., the little trio with the big hillbilly sound. Producing original ballads, boogies & blues in a lively and free-wheeling style that bridges the gap between rockabilly and classic Country & Western music, the S.I.T. & Die lineup consists of singing accompanied by electrified guitars and doghouse bass -- and is guaranteed to satisfy your most exacting needs in quality-built hillbilly entertainment!
This Burlesque-a-palooza is the mastermind of Brooklyn-based burlesque barons Andy Heidel and William Morton.
