Suicide is a global problem that claims approximately 1 million lives each year. Suicide and suicidal behavior affects individuals of all ages, genders, races, and religions. When suicidal behaviors are detected early, lives can be saved.

Join us for an evening with Dr. Carol Fahy as she presents facts about suicide, clarifies warning signs, gives insight into the person who talks about suicide, and provides resources for getting help for the assessment and treatment of suicidal behaviors and their underlying causes.

A discussion regarding the experience of survivors of suicide, those family and friends who are left behind to grieve this incomprehensible experience, will follow the presentation.

Dr. Fahy is a psychologist who has been in private practice in the South Bay since 1987. She specializes in individual and couples psychotherapy and is particularly skilled at working with depressed and addicted individuals as well as the wide range of psychological issues facing people today.
