Sui Zhen ‘Two Seas’ Album Tour June 1, 2012

Sydney-raised, Melbourne-based artist Sui Zhen (pronounced Sue-ee Chen) is the colourful personality of singer/songwriter and composer Becky Freeman, who is set to release her beautiful debut album ‘Two Seas’ on 4th May 2012. To celebrate the release, Sui Zhen will hit the road in May and June with an Album Tour along the east coast, stopping in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra.

'Two Seas' came together throughout Sui Zhen’s travels over the past few years, and the album bears the unique marks of all the spaces inhabited along the way. A song written in Redfern was recorded in an old church in Wildes Meadow, arranged in Berlin and mixed in Gerroa. Whilst visiting family in Bahrain – which translates literally to ‘two seas’ – Sui Zhen decided the album was ready for release.
