The Community Room3167 Main Street | Duluth, GA 30096A first-time supervisor often arrives in his or her new role with little experience and no training. He or she is expected to supervise employees who are peers and who may have been coworkers the day before. The new supervisor often muddles through until he or she figures out a few things that work.
Succeeding as a Supervisor is an effective way to give new supervisors the skills they need to be effective. This course will cover topics such as motivation, performance evaluation and coaching, developing and maintaining discipline, handling conflict, leading the work team, and building trust and respect. Each participant will select a topic during the course and develop a plan to improve their skills in that area.
This 4-day course is fun, interactive and taught by a professional that has experience working with local governments.
