Bio:

Amir Malekpour is a Comedian, writer, and producer of Subterranean comedy. Amir makes his home on Treasure Island in San Francisco. He was a finalist in the Urban Comedy Competition 2006 (3rd) and Twisted Biscuit Competition 2007 (2nd). He is also a regular performer at clubs around Northern California. His comedy ranges from intellectual to the absurd. He mixes of high energy, unique perspective, friendly nature, and smart writing cover such topics as politics, animals, family, relationships, arts, sciences, health, and everyday quirks.

Jason Wheeler, San Francisco based writer/comedian is one of the most well respected comedic writers in San Francisco. With a dark, cutting sarcasm, and relentless honestly, Jason delivers fork-tongued humor for the masses.

Sean Keane is the former editor of the Heuristic Squelch, UC Berkeley’s humor magazine. He is an accomplished comedy performer and producer who has performed with Dave Attell along with many others. He is the two-time winner of the Iron Comic Competition, and was a finalist in the SF Comedy Club Competition (2007). He recently performed in "Iron Comic" at the Punchline, as part of SF Sketchfest.

Joe Gorman is the produces of the popular San Francisco show, “Baby Faces of Comedy Tour”. It’s a pleasure to have him on board at Subterranean comedy.

“Sketch group: Omar & Rodrigo” consists of Cory Basumer, Rish Nakra, and Amir Malekpour. This group unofficially formed in the fall of 1994 when the three members were 16 years old. The group’s influences include Oscar Schindler, Ghandi, William Shakespeare, and Sun Tzu.
