Roots rock cult heroes, the subdudes make a triumphant statement with their new album, Behind The Levee. Produced by Keb? Mo? and recorded at the storied Dockside Studios near Lafayette, LA, the band finely craft their trademark New Orleans-flavored Americana that just feels good inside and out. The band consists of three of the four original members, Tommy Malone, with his passionate voice and astonishing guitar playing, Steve Amedee, who has taken tambourine playing to a celestial level, and John Magnie , whose funky keyboards and juicy accordion round out their unique sound. Add to the mix, Magnie and Amedee?s ?Third Twin?, Tim Cook on vocals, bass and percussion, driven by superb song writing, outstanding vocalizations and incredible musicianship.
