For this season's installment of 'StudioSound,' artist Ramon Silva has created 'Dreaming In Sound,' abstract ethereal beats designed to conjure nostalgia and evoke the languor and beauty of summertime. Interested in how sound affects and recalls memories, Silva was inspired by Hurvin Anderson's paintings of barbershops, as well as Harlem's rich musical traditions, vibrant streetscapes and dynamic culture. It's a Harlem summer in a musical composition, with all its complexity, fun and flavor.
