There will be three components to the Students for Sustainability Campus Tour: exhibitions, speaking engagements, and documentary film.

At each tour stop national, region, and community groups will set up a campus exhibition showcasing the many realities of climate change. Each exhibition will include information tables on action students can take in their own lives as well as ways they can demand action from all levels of government, a dramatic photography display illustrating the effects of climate change, computer terminals where students can interact with digital resources available on a variety of climate topics, and kiosks staffed by activists to answer questions and provide information on environment sustainability.

At each tour stop dynamic and engaging speakers will address audiences of 500-1,500 students on the negative effects of climate change and what individuals can do to effect positive change. Confirmed speakers for the University of Manitoba include:

Dr. David Suzuki - Environmentalist, Zoologist, Author & Broadcaster
Maude Barlow - Activist, author and National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians
Brendan Brazer - Vegan Ironman & Founder of VEGA
Sponsored by the Canadian Federation of Students, Sierra Youth Coalition, David Suzuki Foundation
