A forum for Rising Stars in Caribbean Tourism

Sustainability has been hailed as the appropriate use of resources so that future generations may enjoy them. At college and university campuses in the Caribbean and the United States, students are deeply interested in sustainable initiatives and want to be involved in their implementation.

The Colloquium is the creation of CTO interns who were enrolled at Universities in the Caribbean and the United States as their contribution to the calendar for Caribbean Week. It challenges their colleagues to research and present a sustainable tourism project that is practical and could provide a sustainable source of income for interested people in the Caribbean.

This free-style presentation promises to be interesting for the students as well as for the audience. Come out and support them.

The motivational speaker at the event is Mr. Dennis Rahiim Watson (Chairman, National Youth and Gang Violence Taskforce; President and CEO, Center for Black Student Achievement). Students are asking for a contribution of $10 per person to benefit the CTOFoundation.

The CTO Foundation aims to support persons interested in pursuing studies in the area of tourism, hospitality and language training, who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement and leadership, and who express a strong interest in making a contribution to Caribbean tourism.
