Stuck Elevator: The Super-Heroic Stationary Journey of Ming Kuang Chen June 19, 2007

Inspired by the true story of a Chinese restaurant deliveryman who was stuck in a Bronx elevator for three days, this solo performance opera, by Seattle-based composer Byron Au Yong and New Haven-based librettist Aaron Jafferis, finds an illegal immigrant and a fortune cookie trapped between fear and hope.

Directed by Tom Milewski, with music direction by Julia Tai, Stuck Elevator stars Xike Xin.
