Dance Class Instructors
Chris “Cros1” Wright, B-Boy since 1993, is the founder of Freestylesession, one of most established Urban Dance brands in the world producing events, music, clothing, and DVDs. Established in 1997, Freestylesession has become one of the most influential and sought out events every year, and has been held in cities including San Diego, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Cros1 has also co founded the “Out for Fame National BBoy Championships. He is co-owner of Armory Hip Hop Shop in San Diego as well as a local club promoter.

Salah is a crowd loving (and vice-versa) entertainer who never fails to make an impact wherever he goes. With his incredible movement, comedy, and musicality, his performances are unforgettable experiences which have gone on to make him one of the most respected but feared dancers. His recent victory on French TV Show Incroyable Talent has now made him a household name in Europe!

Mestre Urbu Malandro is a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil and has studied Capoeira for over twenty years under the esteemed Brazilian Mestre Suassuna and his group Cordão de Ouro. Mestre toured internationally as a dancer and musician from 1988 to 1993 and has been teaching in the Bay Area since 1994. Mestre Urubu established Capoeira USA in San Francisco, CA in 1996 to teach students, create community events, and exceptional performances that represent the essence of Capoeira.

Ana "Lollipop" Sanchez will be showing the dance styles that she has a true passion and love for: Wacking and Punking, which she was lucky to have the opportunity to learn around 1974 - 1975 because of Shabbadoo & Toni Basil. Ana enjoys talking to her classes, letting them know some of her history in dance, answer questions and so on. Be ready to open up to learn, get ready to evolve to teach.

Pioneer and perfector of the legendary dance styles strutting and the Fillmore, Fayzo brings meaning to the words, power and accuracy. As Director/Chief choreographer, original member of Demon of the Mind, and founding member of Medea Sirkas this creative and meticulous dancer, a native of San Francisco, California’s Fillmore District, aspires to continue a legacy which allows the world to envision and discover the intricacies and historical aspects of the art form he defines as strutting and the Fillmore dance style.

Since 1982 at the age of twelve, Steve “Zulu Gremlin” Roybal has been locked into the Hip Hop movement. Zulu Gremlin has been inducted into the Smithsonian Institute and the Rock-N-Roll Hall Of Fame for all of his accomplishments. He is currently focused on his theatrical dance company “The Break Beat Assassins” and continuing the legacy of his International Hip Hop Conference, the B-Boy Masters Pro-Am with Speedy Legs (1997-present). The Pro-Am has touched down in New York City, Miami, San Francisco, as well France, Germany, and Puerto Rico.
