Stravinsky composed at the piano, so it is no surprise that his piano music has all the color and energy of his orchestral music. This concert features works for piano that Stravinsky wrote for himself to perform with his son Soulima, along with compositions he wrote for such virtuosic performers as Artur Rubinstein.
