Straits Restaurant Presents STRAITS IS BACK! BIGGER AND BETTER! Straits Founder and Chef Chris Yeo Celebrates the Grand Reopening of His Popular Santana Row Restaurant and Lounge with Three Free Events July 8, 9, & 10 July 8, 2010

WHAT: Chris Yeo, founder of Straits Restaurant and Lounge, will host an exciting series of special events to celebrate the grand reopening of Straits Restaurant and Lounge at Santana Row in San Jose, CA, following a major renovation of the popular restaurant’s space.

The series begins with the Grand Reopening party on Thursday, July 8, when the restaurant’s stylish new look will be unveiled. At this red carpet, black tie event guests will enjoy posing for the paparazzi, Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka cocktails, mingling and live music.

On Friday, July 9, Hennessey Black will play host to the Hey Yeo! Fedora party in celebration of Yeo and his signature head covering. Guests wearing their most fashionable fedora can sip Hennessey Black cocktails and dance the night away while listening to local DJ’s spin the latest hits.

The White Hott Summer Party is the final party of the week and takes place on Saturday July 10. Guests, asked to dress in all white, will enjoy sample drinks from the spectacular Kettle One ice luge. One dollar from every drink sold that evening will be donated to the CYC (Community Youth Center, formally the Chinatown Youth Center), a charity with which Yeo closely works that benefits at-risk youth in the community.
