Storytelling Workshop October 10, 2009

Storytelling is as old as language but in today’s society it is as fresh and new as ever. It is the art of telling a story without a book, using voice, gesture and movement. Stories can range from personal anecdote to the beginning of the universe. Come and experience a form of expression which can tickle your fancy and feed your soul. This workshop will help you find a story to tell and support and encourage you to tell it well. It will be run by Alex Somerville of the Surrey Storytellers Guild. Alex has been a professional storyteller in the community since 2001 and has lots of experience of inspiring young and old with the art of storytelling.
