Stormy Weather (1943): Movie Party February 26, 2011

Watch 'Stormy Weather' featuring the inimitable Lena Horne. Sanford Moore will be at the piano with Dennis Spears right after the intermission with a set of jazz singers. They'll also take a moment to spotlight the fashion and the late-night attire of a 1940s Harlem crowd. Feel free to wear your out-on-the-town outfit to help class up the joint. Don't forget that the Fitzgerald Theater is a movie house with a full bar. Get your tickets and show up early, they'll be handing you a free box of popcorn and you'll be invited to hear pre-show music from the era.
