Stonehenge Winter Solstice Flickr Meet 2008 December 20, 2008

A chance for Flickr users to come together to photograph the Winter Solstice celebrations at Stonehenge.

This year, the Solstice sunrise is on the morning of Sunday 21st December. Sunrise itself is around 08.09 a.m. (exact times will be posted nearer to the event). English Heritage usually open the site to the public from 07.30 a.m. for a couple of hours.
