Jungle Swing’s Stomp it Off! dance is back for another great year of Swing dancing and music! If you’re looking for a great new activity for this year, Swing dancing is it. This is your chance to get out and start your Swing habit and fulfill your New Years resolution.

January 29th, Jungle Swing presents The Slipped Disc Jazz Band on the Stomp it Off! stage. Slipped Disc is a jazz band inspired by the Benny Goodman Sextets of the 1930′s and 40′s.

Josh Roberts leads the band on guitar, with a front line of Colin Farquhar on clarinet, and Craig Scott on vibraphone. The rhythm section features Jennifer Hodge on bass, Alexander Klassen on drums, and pianist Bonnie Northgraves. You know many of the musicians in this lineup, so be ready for a great night of music and dancing!

Stomp it Off! is Vancouver’s premier swing dance event! Join the crowd every Saturday for a great night of music, dancing and socializing. We feature the city’s top Dj’s and dancers in a warm and friendly environment. Take the plunge. Come out this Saturday to the Grandview Legion Auditorium and experience Swing Dancing, Jungle Swing style.
