Steve Lucky & The Rhumba Bums April 8, 2011

Playing and singing professionally by the time he was 13, Steve Lucky's eclectic career has made him one of San Francisco's most sought-after musical exports. Lucky formed his own band in New York City and toured Europe extensively until he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1993. Culling the best of the Bay Area's musicians, Lucky started the Rhumba Bums in 1993 as a quintet but the band really took shape in '94 with the addition of Miss Carmen Getit.

Now, together with Miss Carmen Getit and the Rhumba Bums, Lucky has appeared on PBS' "CD Highway," Music Television/FOX "Locals Only," on CBS' Good Morning America, CNN's Showbiz with Jim More and the Bravo! documentary "This Joint Is Jumpin'!"
