Steve Coleman Presents April 4, 2011

This is a weekly composers' workshop with master saxophonist/improviser/composer/bandleader Steve Coleman. This is a class, not a concert. It offers a unique opportunity to explore Steve Coleman's musical and philosophical ideas. The format and focus may vary from week to week. In general, Steve discusses his system of composition in detail, often in the context of a single tune, so that attendees can discover new approaches to rhythm, tension and balance. All are welcome.
