CSTW is back, now bimonthly, with some more International flavour. This month, with a rare visit to the UK, is acclaimed garage, rockabilly, electronic outfit, STEREO TOTAL, to celebrate the release of their latest album ?Do The Bambi?.

STEREO TOTAL are French/German duo Françoise Cactus and Brezel Göring. Brezel never sleeps, doesn?t take drugs, nor drinks coffee or alcohol - and he has two illegitimate children. He prides himself to have a truck driver?s taste in women. His girlfriend is Françoise Cactus - novelist, artist, author of 23 books and is a highly paid feature writer. She comes from the ?Girl Garage? and ?Psychedelic? era of the 80s, but don?t let that put you off.

The two have recorded everything on their own, and despise technology. The result? Romanticism, anarchy, happiness and mourning. Intimate, intense, amusing, agitating, furious, explosive. In short, this is what to expect:
40% Chanson, 20% R'n'R, 10% Punk rock, 3% DAF-Sequenzer, 4% Jacques Dutronc-Rhythmique, 7% Brigitte Bardot and Serge Gainsbourg, 1,5% Cosmonaute, 10% really old synthesisers, 10% 8-bit Amiga-sampling, 10% transistor amplifier, 1% really expensive and advanced instruments, electropunky, kitsch & speed, sissilistening, bricolopop, Berliner jukebox, a minimalistic production (in a positive sense), meaning a home-made-trash-garage-sound crossed with underground, authentic as well as amateurish, ironic as well as effective, pop as well as ... political.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
DJ support comes from the great Rob Mello and Stan Fontan.
