Are you concerned about the quality of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education in the state of California? Do you have an exciting way of engaging math and science students in the classroom? Have you been hoping to tell your story about STEM?
Silicon Valley Education Foundation will be hosting a free workshop on Thursday, February 4 to get you started on creating a 60-sec video to share your great idea. Join leaders in STEM education to highlight interesting, unique and fun ways of bringing math and science classrooms to life. Submit your idea in a 60 second video to www.stemposium.org by February 14, 2011. You will have the chance to be one of 20 presenters at a STEM Symposium - the STEMposium! - on April 1, 2011 at the California Academy of Sciences. Five innovators will have the chance to win up to $5,000 each in prizes at this event - a total of $25,000! Send us your thoughts and change the face of STEM education.
