Two of America's most accomplished and innovative French chefs will bring their culinary brilliance to supperclub Restaurant in San Francisco on October 12 to create a collaborative multi-course Uber Dinner. Hubert Keller of Fleur de Lys Restaurant and Roland Passot of La Folie Restaurant are both acclaimed for their culinary xcellence and creative exuberance, and their legendary restaurants have received rave reviews and highly-coveted Michelin Stars. They and Wickenhagen will each create a special course for the evening's dinner that will be paired with premier wines from Pommery Champagne and other select vintners.
The first guest chef ever invited to the White House where he cooked for President Clinton, since 1986 Hubert Keller has been the Executive Chef and co-owner of Fleur de Lys Restaurant, which remains one of San Francisco's legendary eateries. He has also opened a second Fleur de Lys in Las Vegas, as well as Burger Bar, both located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. Chef Keller's influence extends beyond his restaurant kitchens to the millions of people he reaches through his cookbooks and PBS-Television show, Secrets of a Chef. He is the author of The Cuisine of Hubert Keller and Burger Bar: Build Your Own Ultimate Burgers.
Chef Roland Passot began his culinary career at the age of fifteen in France's gastronomic capital of Lyon. Traditionally trained, he has worked with some the most acclaimed chefs in the world. After arriving in the United Sates, Passot received national accolades and prepared dinners for celebrities and royalty from around the globe including Prince Charles and Bob Hope.
