Steaming Weekend on the Water February 21, 2009

If you missed it last month, here's another chance! Liberty Ship Steaming Weekend 2/21-22
Visit the Jeremiah O'Brien, the only still-operating Liberty Ship on the West Coast, this weekend when the boilers will be hot and the 3-story high 2500 horsepower steam engine will be in operation. Knowledgeable engine department staff will be on hand to show off their favorite toy and answer all questions. The entire ship is open for your inspection. Located at pier 45 by Fishermans' Wharf, the ship is easily reachable by BART & the vintage F-Castro Muni line. More info at www.ssjeremiahobrien.org
