Thinking of becoming your own boss and starting a business? This 4-week seminar series will give an overview of the issues would-be entrepreneurs face in setting up shop.

Sessions will be held each Tuesday evening in March. The first installment, 'Are You Entrepreneurial Material?', will help individuals determine if they have the right stuff to start a business. Subsequent sessions will deal with 'Legal Structures & Tax Issues', 'Marketing Basics', and 'Financial Resources'.

Series instructor is Joyce Moy, Executive Director, Economic Development, LaGuardia Community College. She has earned glowing reviews for previous "101" workshops, including "this was not only a learning experience, it was inspirational" and "straight from the hip, understandable presentation".

Location is Asian Women In Business's office, 358 5th Avenue, Suite 504 (at 34th Street), Manhattan.
