Stars Of Tomorrow Showdown December 30, 2008

Stars of Tomorrow Showcase Pt.1 features three hot new artists who all have multiple talents in the music industry.

Singer/Songwriter - Melodie Soul a bright new talent from Houston who has a voice beyond her years will open the show and will be backed by Guitarist Chris Hines & the Soul Sunday Band.

Singer/Rapper - Cuttone a rapper with a singing talent has been living in Houston for some time now but hails from Detroit, MI. Cuttone is being compared to the Rapper Common but he likes to think he is blazing his own trial.

The featured Singer/Songwriter of the night is one of my favorite singers and trust me I tell her that all the time, none other than De'Andre Wright of Houston. De'Andre has grown throughout our years around each other is developing into one of the most dynamic singers around. You trully don't want to miss her performance.

Da Showdown Pt. 2 will feature two of Houston's most talented new artists, Rapper Grinch who's been on the Houston's rap scene for over a decade and is now just getting his much deserved attention. Grinch was the winner of the MC Battle to open for ICE CUBE that was held at the Meridian on December 12th 2008. Grinch gave a nearly perfect performance and was well received by the Pro-ICE CUBE crowd.

Another performing artist discovered at the MC Battle was R&B singing sensation "Koree H". Koree was the runner-up to Grinch but due to Koree's performance on the night of the finals we won a slot on stage and came out prior to Grinch to warm up the crowd and not only did he warm up the crowd Koree set the crowd on fire with one outstanding performance.

Other performer include ATW LIve (All The Way Live) a rap group/live band, USC (Urban Sol Click) and The Clean Up Crew two high powered rap groups.
ATW and Clean Up Crew both came out of the MC Battle competitions.
