Friends Of The High Line
New York, New York 10011

During the warmer months of the year, Friends of the High Line and the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York invite you to gaze at the stars using high-powered telescopes, and get a lesson from the experts on the celestial wonders of New York City's night sky. 'Stargazing on the High Line' takes place every Tuesday at dusk, weather permitting. Stargazing's location is dependent upon night sky conditions each week. Although the High Line extends from Gansevoort Street to 20th Street, most of the observing will take place near the 14th Street entrance or just south of the Standard Hotel, which crosses over the High Line near 13th Street. You can enter the park at any one of these entrances/exits: Gansevoort Street, 14th Street (with elevator access), 16th Street (with elevator access), 18th Street or 20th Street.
