Star-studded Hurricane Benefit Bringing Relief to the Rockaways January 31, 2013

Among the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy, the Rockaways remain in dire need of aid to rebuild homes, schools and businesses demolished by the storm. On Thursday, January 31, 2012, the posh Hell’s Kitchen venue, espace, will host a special Relief for Rockaway benefit to raise money for residents of Breezy Point and the Rockaways as they struggle to recover from the hurricane. Guests of the star-studded affair will enjoy an evening of live music, signature cocktails, bites by Italian eatery Resette, and a silent auction featuring big ticket items such as a 2013 Lexus convertible donated by Lexus of Queens, one-of-a-kind items like a custom built Harley Davidson motorcycle and autographed sports memorabilia, plus travel experiences, jewelry and more. All Relief for Rockaway ticket sales and silent auction proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief efforts in Breezy Point and the Rockaways. Relief for Rockaway has a targeted goal of raising $250,000 for the cause.
