As darkness falls Saturday, July 4th, the Bonita Springs night sky will come alive with a laser light show.

The eco-friendly, vibrant display can be seen for as far as 10 miles away from Riverside Park, where the lasers will originate as part of the city’s annual Star Spangled Bonita Party in the Park, according to the Miami-based internationally known LaserNet.
LaserNet is one of the world’s most experienced laser show companies, and they have traveled the globe to create spectacular events for AT&T, Westinghouse and Carnival Cruise Lines just to name a few.”
Setting a new precedent by starting at 6 p.m. instead of immediately following the morning parade, the free-of-charge Party in the Park will offer live entertainment, an array of children’s activities and traditional July 4th events, culminating with the laser light show set to music.

The popular pie baking contest and hot dog eating contest will take place once again, and there will be an array of children’s games and activities including a waterslide, dunking game, potato sack races, relay races and much more. Many trophies will be awarded.

Refreshments will be available, and admission is free. The artist cottages in the Liles Hotel plaza will be open. Riverside Park is in the historic district of Bonita Springs on Old 41 and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, but to please leave their dogs and coolers at home.
