W. Kamau Bell cites his comedic influences as Cracked Magazine, Kentucky Fried Movie, and Malcolm X. He has been appeared LIVE as a frequent opener for Dave Chappelle (including Dave Chappelle's Block Party Tour w/ Mos Def and Erykah Badu) and at The Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He has been seen ON TV on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and KRON's Porchlight Series. Kamau has been heatured ON RADIO as one half of the movie review team "Two Angry Black Guys" on Live 105 and IN PRINT as an Artist on The Verge in The San Francisco Chronicle and recently as a guest columnist in The Oakland Tribune.
