The Young Leadership Committee of the Lighthouse International presents their Second Annual Stand Up for the Lighthouse Comedy Night. Headlining the event will be GREG GIRALDO, host of "Stand-Up Nation with Greg Giraldo" on Comedy Central. He has also appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman” and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien.”

Also on the bill:

•BRIAN FISCHLER, a legally blind comic who hosted the First Annual Laugh for Sight benefit, has opened for Kevin James and Ray Romano, and performs regularly in comedy clubs in New York and Los Angeles.
•KARITH FOSTER, one of the New York Friar’s Club’s youngest members, who has appeared on Comedy Central and VH1 and performed at NYC comedy clubs including Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, and Stand-up New York.

The Young Leadership Committee is comprised of rising young professionals representing every industry in New York, and every major company in New York. The Young Leadership’s goal is to raise awareness among young professionals of the important work that the Lighthouse International does in vision rehabilitation, while getting valuable networking with other rising stars of the business world.

All proceeds benefit the Lighthouse International Child Development Center, which enables children with vision impairments to meet their full potential from life's earliest moments. Boys and girls learn basic life skills, gain opportunities for social development and acquire literacy, study, and computer skills to help them build the bridges they'll need on the road to an independent life.
