BEGINNING STAND-UP
TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP
Working from The Stand-up Comedy Workbook, which you receive as part of your tuition, you will learn how to cut through writer's block, build a premise, and generate endless punch lines until you find the one that works.

You will learn:

ADVANCED STAND-UP
PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
This workshop is structured to help you create seven minutes of stand-up material and culminates in your own stage performance in front of a live audience. Through rehearsal, lecture and performance, you will learn advanced techniques and tips that will put you on your way to:
o Creating memorable characters
o Constructing free-flowing sets
o Accelerated material development
o Fear and "critic" exercises
o Working the road
o Road gigs, television and radio
o Dealing with hecklers
o Emceeing, featuring and headlining
