The highly entertaining Brendan Riley headlines our last Stand-up Comedy night this season. Plus support from Dan Bland, Pete Phillipson & Kerry Leigh.

Tickets: £7 / £5 concessions / £2 Edge Hill students

Headliner: Brendan
Riley

There's nothing bland or predictable about this stand-up
comic.  Brendan's Liverpudlian accent and
lively blend of anecdotes, gags, and inspired improvisation bring a refreshing
blast of cheer to Jongleurs, Rawhide, Jesters, Hyena, and Baby Blue comedy
clubs in Britain and as far
as Dubai and Singapore.

Dan Bland

Dan Bland is a
deadpan comic whose electrifying wit and darkly comic world view have
entertained audiences in venues throughout the country. With his rhythmically droll delivery, Dan has
been known to hold crowds in a vice-like grip, as they yield to his twisted
comic outpourings. As he steadily gains
fame for his original and incisive material, Dan continues to earn plaudits as
an act whose non-threatening facade scarcely conceals a heart of darkness.

Pete Phillipson

Originally from Lincoln but nowadays
based in Manchester,
Pete Phillipson started out as a musical comedian in 2008. Since then he's been performing purely as a
stand-up, with some very funny observations. He has an imaginative and energetic repertoire
of guaranteed laughs and a confident stage persona.

Kerry Leigh

Often mistaken for an Antipodean (she is in fact Manchester-born), Kerry
was sent to Australia
as a convict when she was just 9 years old for heinous crimes against fashion. After sneaking back into the country in a
crate of Chinese fireworks in the millennium, she soon became frustrated that
no one would laugh at her jokes in the office. She began dabbling in stand up comedy in 2002
so that people would take her more seriously.
