ST.VINCENT HEART CENTER PARADE AT CARMELFEST

CARMEL, IN, JUNE 4, 2007 – Calling all marchers! How would you like to be in the 2007 St.Vincent Heart Center Parade at Carmelfest? If you or your family has been affected by heart disease and you would like to show your support for the Go Red for Women movement to wipe out heart disease in women, you may sign up to march in the St.Vincent Heart Center Parade at Carmelfest at http://www.b1057.com/community/carmel_fest.aspx . You will receive a commemorative St.Vincent Heart Center Parade at Carmelfest T-shirt along with a St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana $99 HeartScan. A HeartScan is a coronary artery scan that measures the amount of “calcified” or “hardened” plaque inside your heart’s arteries (valued at $275) OR The Vascular Institute, a partnership of The Care Group, is offering a FREE Peripheral Vascular Screening for vascular disease; screening includes checking for blockages in the legs and carotid arteries and for an aortic aneurysm (valued at $299). The march is open to anybody who has had their life affected by heart disease in one way or another. It will be a two mile walk beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Merchant Square, ending at Carmel High School on the morning of July 4th. We look forward to marching with you on July 4th at Carmelfest.

For over 20 years, the City of Carmel has played an important role in Hamilton County’s 4th of July festivities by presenting Carmelfest, a two day patriotic celebration for the entire family! Each year, over 30,000 Hoosiers and their families gather near town square in Carmel for two fun filled days of music, food, kid’s activities, a teen stage, fireworks, and a good old fashioned American parade. The Carmelfest Parade is a 4th of July tradition in Hamilton County featuring floats, marching bands, clowns, cheerleaders, local personalities, antique cars and all the traditions of an American Parade. Starting at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4th, the parade kicks off the day’s festivities, and culminates with fireworks that night.
