In celebration of the 33rd annual SAINT STUPID'S DAY PARADE, the FIRST CHURCH of the LAST LAUGH is exposing to the Bay Area art world some of the finest interpretations of that seldom (over) used human impulse...STUPIDITY. The annual April Fools day event held in San Francisco is an extension of the medieval European tradition of the Feast of Fools, a public social satire on the powers that be. Curated by Bishop Joey, instigator of the parade, this exhibit brings together under one roof the artistic and historical aspects of this little known saint. Paint, stone, paper, celluloid, metal, clay and digital mediums will help to explain the unavoidable influences that this two dimensional spiritual scapegoat has had on you and the world. Show opens March 11th and runs through April 30th.

Featured artists include: Blake Moore, Hal Robins, Jon Sances, Philo Drummond, Puzzling Evidence, Jim Hair, Art Hazelwood, Willian Binzen, Ann Ominous, Ed Holmes, John Wehrle, Marc Ribaud, d’Arci Bruno, Pons Maar, Al Honig, Scott Siedman, Jim Erikson, R.We.Really, Julian Kenji Carreiro, Paul Mavrides, Jim Erikson and Janet Koike.
