St. Patrick's Day Music with Phil Passen March 16, 2009

Enjoy the traditional Irish music of Phil Passen, hammered dulcimer player and singer, the night before St. Patrick's Day. Mr. Passen will play a combination of slow airs, rousing reels, and jigs. he will perform such classics as "Danny Boy," "Irish Washerwoman," "Down by the Sally Gardens," and "No Irish Need Apply." After the performance, you are invited to try your hand at playing the hammered dulcimer. Please register in person or call the Adult Reference Desk at 630-924-2730.
