St. Mary Immaculate School 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids 2K February 1, 2013

On Saturday, May 11th, St Mary Immaculate School will sponsor its 2nd Annual 5k Run/Walk and Kids 2k starting at 8:00am at St. Mary Immaculate School, 15629 S Rt. 59 in Plainfield.

The 5K Course, a 3.1 mile route, begins and returns to St. Mary Immaculate Church/School grounds. And the race will be held rain or shine, please no refunds.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register now through March 31 to take advantage of reduced registration prices. Net proceeds will benefit St. Mary Immaculate School and its many programs.

All registrants will be chip timed. Medals will be awarded for the 5k Run/Walk to the top three overall winners of both men’s and women’s divisions. Winners in each age category will receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals. Winners in each individual Kids 2k age category of both the boys and girls divisions will also receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals.

And, this is more than a race. You can participate in pre-event training runs. Wear a race t-shirt, they’ll be on-sale. Chow down on tasty pre and post-race food available for purchase. flowers for all Moms. We are also collecting shelf stable groceries - a food drive for the Interfaith Food Pantry. And join the fun at the post-race party at Tap House Pub & Grill.
