To help kids fighting cancer, My friend Elizabeth is a volunteer with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Please support her by making a donation, becoming a volunteer or shaving your head!

Three years ago, her friends' son Michael was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor (he was only two years old!). We're not shaving our heads this year, but are planning on raising some money and spending some $$ at Fado's in support! In previous years, Fado donated a percentage of their proceeds for the day to the foundation, and I'd assume that's the case again this year.

Donate a bit to the effort. Plan on heading down for a meal and a pint or two. Watch some people get their heads shaved ... or raise money and get your head shaved!

With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
