Niet voor niets voor de derde keer op het podium in dBs, dit trio uit Detroit. Met leden van illustere gezelschappen als The Cyril Lords, the Hentchmen & the Sights en op het prachtige ALIVE/BOMP label! Nieuwe plaat Break Your Arm For Evolution staat weer bol van de invloeden varierend van rechttoe rechtaan Garage Rock, Krautrock, Psychedelica, en Electro. Live a Must See!! Ook op de planken deze avond Utrechts leukste electro-act Lilian Hak die met haar solo-act met name in Duitsland veelgevraagd is. Zou dat iets met T.Raumschiere te maken hebben?? In 2007 Lilian Hak started to perform solo on stage. Her live set is with a minimum of gear on stage; a laptop, controller, nord modular synth, mic and some fx. As a multi-instrumentalist she likes to improvise on stage with the sounds and structures. Her style is difficult to frame and is very surprising. Expect a nice blend of warm, deep melodic, and dirty, electronic music within she experiments with her sounds. She's got a remarkable presence on stage because she combines her beats with live vocals and keys.

The kind of distortion that edges the vocals and most of the instruments on the album Break Your Arm for Evolution (Alive) tags SSM as garage-rock or psychedelia, and most of the songs would go nicely with a liquid-blob light show. But this three-man band - John Szymanski on keyboards, Dave Shettler on drums and Marty Morris on guitar - doesnt stay within any particular school or era. SSM also toys with electro, progressive rock and punk-funk.
