Sri Krishna Gana Sabha is celebrating International Theatre Artistes Day. Actors "Typist" Gopu, V Brinda and Ambi (technician) will be honoured on the occasion with the ''Award of Excellence'' in recognition of their contribution to theatre art. The sabha in association with Nataka Akademi and Sri Krishna Sweets have revived 15 vintage Tamil plays and the 16th in the series, ''Sri Guruvayoorappan'' by Srihari, will be staged.
