Mike Got Spiked place themselves in the middle of the Lost Prophets wide spanning appeal (clever pop hooks covered by a schizophrenic appreciation of heavy music), the slick and unforgiving ska-kick of Goldfinger and the ability to meld a million different sounds into one song like the late Mr. Bungle.

Bay Area locals and Bodog Battle Nor-Cal Semi-Regional Finalists, the Privies are the result of what might happen if Neil Diamond, Angus Young, Michael Stipe of R.E.M. and Jim Morrison formed an all original new band in the 21st century.
