Come join Sprouts Cooking Club, The Slanted Door, Tartine Bakery, and St. George Spirits for 'A Toast to the Summer' fundraising party at The Ferry Building in San Francisco on July 22nd!
With the help of our aspiring Sprouts chefs, Chef Victor and Pastry Chef Laurie Ellen from The Slanted Door and Tartine Bakery will thrill your taste buds with a sampling of savory bites and desserts. Each dish will highlight the summer's freshest ingredients from local farms and community purveyors. All edibles will be paired with cocktails from St. George Spirits, Napa valley wines, and local Bison Organic Beers.
This will truly be a benefit gala for the kids, by the kids! - they will be workin' hard to help prepare the food, serve dishes and mingle with the guests, and even play jazz with local professionals! The event will honor the memory of James Cole, a Sprouts' donor.
The part will be set up right at SF's historic Ferry Building, near their outdoor kitchens. All proceeds will go directly to the Sprouts James Cole Scholarship Fund our Sprouts Scholarship fund and San Francisco Unified School District's cooking and gardening programs.
We hope to have you with us for an afternoon of seasonal appetizers, paired drinks, live jazz, a silent auction, and some summertime sunshine!
