Learn about the effects of climate change on local wildlife with a springtime nature trail at the East Meon Sustainability Centre.

Run in conjunction with East Hampshire District Council the children’s trail will include a minibeast hunt, building homes for creepy crawlies and making clay model creatures.

There will also be sessions on how animals and plants will be affected by global warming and tips for tackling climate change at home.

The event, in its fourth year, will be run on Friday 17 April over two sessions, from 9.30am to noon and from 1pm to 3.30pm

To book a place call East Hampshire Sustainability Centre on 01730 823166. The event is suitable for children of primary school age (5-11) who should be accompanied by an adult. Some of the activities will take place outside so children will need to bring waterproof clothing.
