Censored and labeled "perverse" for its depiction of emancipated adolescent sexual behavior, 'Spring's Awkening' (not to be confused with the musical) is Frank Wedekind's incendiary play about the madness of youth, bad parenting, sex, suicide and sadomasochism. It also proves to be moving, hilarious and still provocative.
