The newly created Gallery 800, representing IATSE Local 800 Art Directors Guild & Scenic, Title and Graphic Artists (ADG), announces its 2009 schedule of art exhibit shows. Located at 5108 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, in the heart of the famed NoHo Arts District, the gallery showcases guild members’ personal art in a series of shows throughout the year, culminating in its annual exhibition, Art Unites.

Spring into Summer, the second in the series, opens with a reception on Saturday, May 30, from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, featuring live music and refreshments. The exhibit will feature pieces with a fresh spring/summer look and feel, such as seascapes, landscapes, deserts, mountains and woods. Spring into Summer will run until August 2. Over 60 artists from all crafts within Local 800 will participate in this exhibition.

Representing Gallery 800 are Curator Denis Olsen, who is an ADG Board Member, and ADG’s Special Projects Coordinator, Nicki LaRosa. Gallery 800’s mission is to promote the works of these talented entertainment industry professionals, on a personal level. Gallery 800 hours are Thursday through Saturday 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Sunday 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Artwork is available for sale in the gift shop.
