Come share the joy of Spring with us and enter an oasis of warmth and tranquility at an authentic Chinese tea ceremony which teanamu is hosting in the heart of Notting Hill.

The relaxing, meditative atmosphere will give you a wonderful respite, as teanamu's tea master Pei Wang gives a free demonstration of traditional tea brewing and offers samples of this Spring's fresh green and Pu Erh teas.

Also enjoy a selection of our gorgeous, freshly baked patisserie made with tea as an ingredient!

We have trekked through ancient tea mountains in Yunnan to bring you some 2010 Spring harvest Pu Erhs from the 2,000 year old tea trees on Big Snow Mountain in Yunnan (3,300 meters above sea level), some organic Pu Erhs from the Mengku area and some very fresh (harvested just last week) Pu Erh tea cakes from the same region. We have also collected a very small quantity of very fine uncompressed Pu Erh tea leaves from 8 different small mountain villages in the Yiwu area of Xishuang Banna (home of Pu Erh teas). All of these Pu Erh teas are harvested from tea trees of at least 200-300 years old.

And from Hangzhou, Anhui province, we have the famous Dragonwell green tea harvested in early April, Taiping Houkui green tea and Huangshan Maofeng green tea.

Drop by on Saturday 01 May any time between 12 noon and 4 pm and you may even try your hand at brewing your own tea using actual gongfu cha tea ware and utensils!
